Anton Sotir is a Managing partner at GoldenGate Law Firm. He regularly represents his clients in various international disputes, commercial arbitration, transnational litigation and sports law cases. His experience includes handling disputes at many institutions, including CAS, FIBA, FIFA, LCIA, SCC, ICC, ICAC and before ad hoc tribunals.
He also serves as an arbitrator adjudicating commercial disputes, and acts as permanent arbitrator in the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Football Federation of Ukraine. In addition, he has a wide experience in consulting clients on commercial law and sports-related issues. In particular, Anton constantly assists sporting bodies in Ukraine with drafting internal regulations, and is an author of many articles on sports law.
Anton studied for his first degree at the Yaroslav Mudrii National Law Academy of Ukraine from which he graduated summa cum laude. He completed an LLM in International Commercial Arbitration Law at Stockholm University and a further LLM in International Sports Law at ISDE, Madrid from which he graduated top of the class. He has also completed a certificate of advanced studies in the field of International Sports Law at the University of Cambridge.
