Dylan Jones – North Wales Football Scout

GSF football scout Dylan Jones has been involved in football all his life through playing, coaching and scouting. Following a bad knee injury, he gave up the game at an early age and decided to take on coaching. Dylan gained all the relevant badges and in 1998 passed his UEFA ‘B’ Coaching Certificate, run by the Football Association of Wales (FAW). He has coached numerous teams and worked in the FAW Centre of Excellence in Gwynedd, for both girls and boys. In 2005, he jointly won the coach of the year run by the FAW Trust.

Dylan started scouting for Birmingham City in 2003 and worked for the midlands club for ten years, covering youth football at local, county, national and international level, both at home and abroad, before moving to Stoke City in 2014, where he covered mostly  the 7 to 12 year old age groups.

He lives in Pwllheli in North Wales.
